Product Description

Block board is a type of engineered wood product commonly used in furniture manufacturing and construction. It is made by sandwiching a core of softwood strips between two layers of plywood or veneer. The core strips are usually made from solid wood, such as pine or poplar, and they are placed edge-to-edge and glued together to form a solid block.

Melamine blockboards are known for their durability, resistance to moisture, and ease of maintenance, positioning them as an ideal option in the woodworking. It is widely used for furniture, interior decoration and wood flooring. With good properties, such as, acid & alkali resistant, heat resistant, easy fabricability, high bending strength.

Block board is similar to plywood but, the center layer or core is made from strips of softwood. Generally used for building long book shelves, tables and benches, single and double beds, settees, and lengthy wall panels. It is light in weight, and is used extensively for building interior and exterior doors.
